Executive Team
Dr. Paul Ko Ferrigno, CEO and Founder
With a background in medical and academic research (MRC Cancer Cell Unit, University of Cambridge, Leeds Institute for Molecular Medicine, Visiting Professor, Leeds University), Paul has been involved in commercialising technological innovations since 2008 when he founded Aptuscan (acquired by Avacta Group in 2012). He is named on multiple patents, has published over 40 research papers, reviews and book chapters and has founded, co-founded and/or led 5 companies to date. He also invests in the future through work on multiple Boards for charitable, educational and grassroots sports organisations.

Dr. Uroš Zupančič, CSO & Co Founder
Co-inventor of the o~pal technology, Uroš has a PhD in electrical engineering from the University of Bath. He has worked at the Wyss Institute at Harvard University and was previously the CSO of biotIP Ltd and associate scientist at Novartis. Outside of work Uroš is a keen basketball player and enjoys kayaking and hiking.
